How did you come up with your ideas?

I really like food. I have a big book of vegetables and fruits. its like an encyclopedia of food that starting out I would flip though for inspiration. Pumpkin is a big help he often asks if I can sew him something he needs for his game. The tails were his idea he really wanted to pretend to be a fox and asked if I could make him a tail. I also get ideas from watching my kids play.

Do you use patterns? Where do you get them? Can I buy/have your patterns? 

I draft all my patterns myself.  At this time I’m not sharing my patterns with anyone they take me a long time to come up with and perfect.

Who makes your products? 

I do. Right now I am a single woman enterprise. Once in a while I may get some little “help” sewing from Pumpkin and Rutabaga but mostly I sew after they have gone to bed and during nap times.

Why do some Almost Edibles say they aren’t for children under 3 due to small parts? 

All of our products should be checked over before a child plays with them and all play should happen with adult supervision. I do strive very hard to make sure that all parts are securely attached and will be safe for everyone to play. Some packages have small parts that on their own pose a choking risk for young children, parts like lettuce leaves and individual strawberries.

Why does it take 1-2 weeks before you ship my order?

I ship within 48 hrs. once payment has cleared for ready to ship items. Most of our products are made to order.

Made to order will ship by 14 business days after paid purchase. I do not ship on Saturdays and Sundays. I will answer questions on weekends.
I will not begin work on your item until payment is received.

What happens if I want to change my order or get a refund?

I make sure that they are in perfect condition before sending, and pack them so that they remain that way. Sometimes a package will get damaged in transit. When this happens, let me know. If you are unhappy with your order please let me know within 6 days and we will do our best to fix the issue.
I will accept a return of the item in its original condition. You will need to pay the return shipping expenses. Once I have received and inspected the item, I will refund the full purchase amount, minus shipping fees.

Do you ship outside the USA?

Your purchase is being shipped from the United States. If you are located outside the US, I will be shipping your package by air mail. Additional shipping cost for international buyers. Please contact me and I will give you a quote on shipping cost.

Please be aware that if you live outside the United States there may be a customs fee added to your package by your country’s customs office. Sorry, but I have no control or responsibility over these fees.
